SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Leonard F. "Len" Prescott; and

WHEREAS, Leonard Prescott served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II; and

WHEREAS, Leonard Prescott was a life member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars; and

WHEREAS, Leonard Prescott was the kind and loving husband of 68 years to Regina; the beloved father of Len, Bill (Sandy), and Jeanne (Dave); the devoted grandfather of 7; and the great-grandfather of 4; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Leonard F. "Len" Prescott; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Leonard Prescott as an expression of our sympathy.
