SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mary Ann Ruggero of Wonder Lake, who
4passed away on July 13, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ruggero was born on September 11, 1925,
6in Kendall, Michigan, to John and Josephine (nee Regula) Kiss;
7she moved with her family to Chicago and attended Wells High
8School; she received her nursing degree from Saint Elizabeth
9Hospital Nursing School; she married Santo Lucio Ruggero on
10January 4, 1947, at Saint Sylvester Catholic Church in Chicago;
11and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ruggero moved to Wonder Lake with her
13husband in 1950; in 1977 she began to work part-time as a nurse
14in his medical office; together they served the community until
15retirement; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Mary Ann Ruggero is survived by her husband; her
17children, Louise (Steven) Krater, Nancy (Al Tracy) Ruggero,
18James (Valerie) Ruggero, Robert (Terese Lohmieier) Ruggero,
19Thomas (Linda Brady) Ruggero, Cynthia (Jan Stahl) Ruggero,
20William Ruggero, Therese (Bruce Vierheller) Ruggero, Margaret
21Ruggero, and Lydia (BJ Neff) Ruggero; her 16 grandchildren; and
22her 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
3Mary Ann Ruggero, and extend our sincere condolences to her
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
5further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Mary Ann Ruggero as an expression of
8our deepest sympathy.
