SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Daniel E. Bluthardt of Springfield; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Bluthardt was the former Director of the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation for the State of Illinois; he served as a political consultant for Illinois Professional Strategies; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Bluthardt was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta; he was an active member of David J. Latoria Post No.6, Italian American War Veterans of the United States; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Bluthardt was the loving husband of Caroline (nee Larson); beloved father of Rocco and Amanda; dear son of Edward "Sparky" and Diane Bluthardt; brother of Brent (Sandra) Bluthardt; son-in-law of Barbara and John Larsen; uncle of Brittany, Lauren, Sofia, Isabel, Johnny, and Joseph; and brother-in-law of Jeff and Rose Larsen; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Daniel E. Bluthardt, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Daniel Bluthardt as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
