SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Adeline Wozniak, who passed away on June 6, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak was born on November 20, 1924; she graduated from Holy Rosary School and Waukegan Township High School; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak was employed by the U.S. Steel Corporation for many years; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary (Queen of Peace) Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Rosary Sodality and Past President of the St. Elizabeth's Club; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak enjoyed baking, bowling, and knitting and crocheting items for her family and friends; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Edward "Bush" Wozniak; her parents, Paul and Anna Rygiel; her brothers, Paul, Joseph, and Edward (Weaser) Rygiel; and her sister, Tillie Beres; and

WHEREAS, Adeline Wozniak was the sister of Millie (Wally) Macrowski, John (Betty) Rygiel, and Mary Ann (Frank) Kaucic; the dear godmother of Paul Beres and Michael Rygiel; and the beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Adeline Wozniak; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Adeline Wozniak as an expression of our sympathy.
