SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John S. Stokowski of Peoria, who passed away on May 23, 2013; and

WHEREAS, John Stokowski was born on July 23, 1953, in Peoria to John E. and Virginia (Nader) Stokowski; and

WHEREAS, John Stokowski worked as the program director for CityLink for 28 years; and

WHEREAS, John Stokowski was a member of the Peoria North Rotary; and

WHEREAS, John Stokowski was preceded in death by his father, John; and

WHEREAS, John Stokowski is survived by his mother, Virginia; his brothers, Joe (Joan) Stokowski and Jeff (Chris) Stokowski; his nephews, Shane and Patrick; his niece, Sheila; and his cousin and close friend, Jerry Stokowski; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of John Stokowski, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Stokowski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
