SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Howard E. Cervi, who passed away on May 27, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Howard Cervi was born on December 26, 1957; his parents were Albert and Elsie Challans Cervi; he married Margaret "Mimi" Covarrubias on September 6, 1980, at the Methodist Church in Carlinville; and

WHEREAS, Howard Cervi was a graduate of Carlinville High School; he farmed his whole life and worked at Aladdin Steel for 15 years; and

WHEREAS, Howard Cervi enjoyed home repair and was an avid hunter; he also loved spending time with his family and grandchildren; and

WHEREAS, Howard Cervi was preceded in death by his father; and

WHEREAS, Howard Cervi is survived by his wife; his daughters, Heidi (Brian) Lange and Tonya (Mike) Wright; his brother, Tony (Cathy Neunaber) Cervi; his sisters, Donna Heinz and Mary Ann (Gary Bettis) McNally; his grandchildren, Brock and Cole Lange; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Howard E. Cervi; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Howard Cervi as an expression of our sympathy.
