| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Kevin A. Kangas of Waukegan, who passed | | 4 | | away on May 9, 2013; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas was born on June 7, 1951, in Norway, | | 6 | | Michigan, and was a long time resident of Waukegan; and
| | 7 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas served his country as a member of the | | 8 | | United States Army; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas retired from Midwestern Generation | | 10 | | after over 30 years of service; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas enjoyed traveling, fishing, and | | 12 | | hunting; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas is preceded in death by his parents, | | 14 | | Arnold and Frances Kangas, and his sister, Karen; and
| | 15 | | WHEREAS, Kevin Kangas is survived by his aunt and uncle, | | 16 | | Dorothy and Jim Armstrong; his niece, Laura (Alex) Acosta; his | | 17 | | nephew, Andrew Hirsch; and his many cousins and dear friends; | | 18 | | therefore, be it
