SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph Michael Graziano of Clarendon
4Hills, who passed away on January 4, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Graziano was born at home on November 20,
61926, in Oak Park; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Joseph Graziano was a respected artist and Chicago
8businessman; after attending art school, he worked for the
9Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Daily News, and several studios
10before opening his own firm, Studio Arts; in 1967, he and his
11partners formed the commercial art/advertising agency
12Graziano, Krafft, and Zale, where he created artwork for many
13clients, including Kraft Foods and Wrigley, until his
14retirement; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Following his retirement, Joseph Graziano enjoyed
16playing golf and painting with watercolors; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Joseph Graziano was a long term member of Ruth
18Lake Country Club in Hinsdale; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Joseph Graziano was preceded in death by his
20parents, Salvatore and Argia, and his brothers, Victor and

1Ralph; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Joseph Graziano is survived by his wife of 60
3years, Virginia; his children, Carolyn (Greg Lutz), Diane (Gary
4Anderson), and Edward (Linda); his grandchildren, Ellen,
5Christopher, Ryan, Lisa, Savannah, and Elliott; and his many
6nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
9his family and friends, the passing of Joseph Michael Graziano;
10and be it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Joseph Graziano as an expression of
13our sympathy.
