SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward R. Urquhart Jr. of Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Edward R. Urquhart Jr. is the beloved husband of the late Patricia J. Urquhart (nee Steffen); loving father of Mary (Richard) Mendoza, Susy (Jim) Opolony, Ed (Mary Jo), Dan (Bridget), Ken (Jeanne), Jim (Beth), David (Terri), Matt (Alicia) Urquhart, and Amy (Charles) Fritz; proud grandfather of Michael, David, Kevin, and Danny Mendoza, Amanda, Jimmy, Joey, and Lauren Opolony, Brian and Nicole, Jack, Megan, and Grace, Kristy, Grant, and Gordon, Tom, Ashley, JJ, Andrea, Emily, Ella, and Ethan, Alana, Nicholas and Jason, Ryan and Nathan Urquhart, and Chase and Patrick Fritz; loving great-grandfather of Aidan; fond brother of John (Pam), Bill (Gloria) Urquhart, Patsy (the late George) Keferlis, and the late Tom (Betty) Finn, the late Bob (Pat) Urquhart; and dear uncle of many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Edward Urquhart Jr., and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Urquhart Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
