SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Ann Zelko (nee Mufich) of Joliet, who passed away on March 15, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Ann Zelko was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident; she was a homemaker all her life and loved to cook and sew; and

WHEREAS, Ann Zelko was a member of St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church; and

WHEREAS, Ann Zelko was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Zelko; her parents, Frank and Mary Mufich; her brothers, Frank, Edward, Stanley, and John Mufich; and her sisters, Mary Batuzich and Katie McGary; and

WHEREAS, Ann Zelko is survived by her daughter, Arlene (Harold) Reuvers; her sons, Ronald (Linda) and Richard (Meg) Zelko; her 8 grandchildren; her 9 great-grandchildren; her sister, Pauline (the late Richard); her brother, Fred (Martha) Mufich; her sisters-in-law, Delored Mufich and Bernie Mufich; and numerous nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Ann Zelko, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Ann Zelko as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
