SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Barbara Jane "Bobbie" (nee Lewis) Moran, who passed away on November 7, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Moran was born in North Chicago on February 2, 1922; she graduated from Waukegan Township High School; she married Robert "Duke" Moran; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Moran was a longtime waitress at Louie's Restaurant in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Moran was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her sister, Norma Ann Ambrogio; and

WHEREAS, Barbara Moran is survived by her 3 children, John (Cookie), Robert (Nancy), and Dawn (Steve) Landfield; her grandchildren, Ryan, Meryn (Joe), Jeffrey, Holly, Sean, Joshua (Melissa), and Keith; and her great-grandchildren, Aidan, Ellie, Alexa, and Harrison; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Barbara Jane "Bobbie" Moran, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Barbara Moran as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
