SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kevin C. Gann of Gifford, who passed away on November 13, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Gann was born in Dixon on December 2, 1965 to Theodore and Bonnie (nee Cannon) Gann; he graduated from Dixon High School and married Christina Hesterberg on January 10, 1987 in Gifford; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Gann worked as a warehouse worker for the SuperValu grocery supply chain for 18 years; he most recently worked at Pioneer Hi-Bred (now DuPont Pioneer) for the past 6 years; he served with the Thomasboro Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Gann enjoyed mushroom hunting, fishing, cooking, making jerky, playing Rook, and spending time on the Rock River; and

WHEREAS, Kevin Gann is survived by his wife, Christina; his 4 children, Zachary, Justin, Christopher, and Carla Gann; his parents; his 2 sisters, Sue (Tom) Rick and Dyan (Terry) Mowry; and his brother, Mark Gann; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kevin C. Gann, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kevin Gann as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
