SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Raymond E. Goldman of Woodstock, who
4passed away on November 1, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was born on May 7, 1932 in Wayne
6City; his parents were Glen and Bervol (nee Austin) Goldman; he
7married Bonnie Badali on March 9, 1953; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman served his country in the United
9States Army during the Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was employed as a mechanic for
11many years; he was also the owner of "The Truck Shop" in
12Crystal Lake; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was a member of St. Paul United
14Church of Christ in Crystal Lake; he was also a member and past
15president of The Saddle Club and a member of the Woodstock
16Moose Lodge; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman enjoyed wood carving, camping,
18horses, boating, and spending time with his family; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman was preceded in death by his

1parents and 2 brothers, Edward Goldman and Charles (Marylin)
2Goldman; and
 
3    WHEREAS, Raymond Goldman is survived by his wife, Bonnie
4Goldman; a son, Todd (Teresa) Goldman; 3 daughters, Vicki
5(Terry) Pfeiffer, Cindy (Jeff) Schwabe, and Sandy (Jeff)
6Miller; 9 grandchildren, April (Jeff) Diamond, Jesse (Casey)
7Goldman, Richard (Ashley) Bieniek, Brent Pfeiffer, Nicole
8Pfeiffer, Ashley (Joel) Friedman, Zachary Schwabe, Adam (Kim)
9Miller, and Rob Miller; 8 great-grandchildren, Samantha,
10Brayden, Evan, Morgan, Jack, Hunter, Jessie, and Nikki; a
11sister, Lola (Gerald) Schiller; and a sister-in-law, Mary
12Goldman; therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
15family and friends, mourn the passing of Raymond E. Goldman;
16and be it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Raymond Goldman as an expression of
19our sympathy.
