SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Betty R. Knaack of Crystal Lake, who
4passed away on October 7, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack was born on August 26, 1941 in Elgin;
6her parents were Albert C. and Clara E. (nee Reiber) Knaack;
7and
 
8    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack attended grade school in Cary and
9attended Crystal Lake Community High School; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack served as a volunteer at Good
11Shepherd Hospital; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran
13Church, where she was confirmed in 1954; she sang in the Girls
14Choir and was a member of the Young Peoples Walther League; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack was preceded in death by her parents;
16and
 
17    WHEREAS, Betty Knaack is survived by 6 cousins, Russell
18Olson, Jr., Clara Olson Johns, Ronald Olson, Sr., Marlene
19Olson, Paulette Knaack and Elaine Easty, and many 2nd

1generation cousins; therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Betty R. Knaack; and
5be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Betty Knaack as an expression of our
8sympathy.
