SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Christopher "Chris" R. Brown of Hudson,
4who passed away on March 5, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was born on November 9, 1973, in
6Hershey, Pennsylvania; his parents were Michael R. and Pamela
7S. Walters Brown; he married Amie Melton on June 7, 1997, in
8Peoria; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown graduated from Charleston High
10School in 1992; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was a 12-year member of the
12Bloomington Fire Department; he was also a 3-year member of the
13Hudson Community Fire Department and a 2-year member of the
14Peoria Heights Fire Department and the Morton Fire Department;
15and
 
16    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was a member of the Associated
17Fire Fighters of Illinois Honor Guard; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown enjoyed spending time with his
19family, fishing, camping, playing hockey, and watching the
20Chicago Blackhawks; and

1    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown was preceded in death by his
2maternal grandfather, Willis W. Walters; his paternal
3grandfather, Jack Brown; and his paternal uncle, Dana A. Clark;
4and
 
5    WHEREAS, Christopher Brown is survived by his wife, Amie;
6his sons, Max and Mason; his parents; his brother, Anthony M.
7(Kimberly) Brown; his sister, Jennifer Renee (Frank) Radek; his
8maternal grandmother, Beverly J. Behnke; his paternal
9grandmother, Barbara L. Kline; his in-laws, Robert and Joan
10Melton; and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with
14his family and friends, the passing of Christopher "Chris" R.
15Brown; and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Christopher Brown as an expression
18of our sympathy.
