SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norbert J. Gravel of Crystal Lake, who passed away on October 10, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel was born on September 28, 1947 in Chicago; his parents were Norbert and Julianne Gravel; and

WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel retired from Yellow Freight after many years of service; and

WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve; and

WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Norbert Gravel is survived by 3 children, Joyce (Mark), Joe (Linda), and Julia; 3 grandchildren, Andrew, Brad, and Kaylee; a brother, Donald (Barbara) Gravel; 2 nephews, Donald Gravel and Keith Gravel; and a niece, Michelle Donnelly; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Norbert J. Gravel; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norbert Gravel as an expression of our sympathy.
