SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Edward "Cobb" Anderson of Harvard, who
4passed away on September 22, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Anderson was born in Harvard on March 7,
61948 to Charles and Julia (nee Meier) Anderson; he served as a
7United States Navy Seabee during the Vietnam War; on October
820, 1973, he married Eileen Kruckenberg in Harvard; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edward Anderson was an avid outdoorsman; he
10enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and fishing,
11gardening, and spending time at his second home in the
12Wisconsin Dells; he was affectionately know by some in his
13family as "Aunt Cobb"; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edward Anderson was preceded in death by his
15parents; his mother and father-in-law, Arthur and Vivian
16Kruckenberg; his sister, Nancy Wells; and his sister-in-law,
17Jean Harnisch; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Edward Anderson is survived by his wife, Eileen;
19his 3 daughters, Lisa (Bennie) Gonzalez, Laurie Alexander, and
20Lea Pantaleo; his 6 grandchildren, David, Jocelyn, and Aubry
21Gonzalez, Addye and Allye Alexander, and Malin Pantaleo; a

1brother, Joseph (Elizabeth) Anderson; his sisters, Kathleen
2(Jim) Yates, Sharon Burnett, Charlene (Dennis) Fairbanks,
3Midge (Tom) Condon, Lynn (Steve) Vermett, and Rita (Rollie)
4Peters; his brother-in-law, Delbert Wells; his
5brothers-in-law, George (Jeanette) Kruckenberg, James
6Kruckenberg, Kenneth (Sandy) Kruckenberg, Victor (Sandra)
7Kruckenberg, Arthur (Meg) Kruckenberg, and Chester
8Kruckenberg; many dear friends, including Gary and Karen Pack;
9and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
 
10    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
11ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
12Edward "Cobb" Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to
13his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
14further
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
16presented to the family of Edward Anderson as an expression of
17our deepest sympathy.
