SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Delphine Marie Przyborski of Crystal
4Lake, who passed away on September 28, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was born in Chicago on
6November 11, 1929 to John and Agnes Biernat; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was a milliner by trade and
8made hats for the rich and famous on Michigan Avenue; she was a
9cook, hostess, and seamstress, and her talents included
10entertaining and designing anything from Halloween costumes to
11wedding gowns and veils; she was instrumental in getting a
12library built for her neighborhood in Chicago and was a Girl
13Scout leader and Cub Scout Den Mother while her children were
14growing up; she was always willing to share her love, time, and
15talents in her church and community; her most cherished
16ministry at her church was the St. Jude's prayer group, but
17what made her most proud was the joy she received in raising
18her large family; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski was preceded in death by her
20parents and godchild, Harrison McCray; and
 
21    WHEREAS, Delphine Przyborski is survived by her loving

1husband of 64 years, Paul Przyborski; children, Dave (Leigh)
2Przyborski and his former wife, Jane George, Judy (Bill)
3Noelle, Steve (Jean) Przyborski, Sue (Stan) Pozniak, Carolyn
4(Curt) Bazzoli, Mary (John) Sepulveda, and Shirley
5Skulimowski; grandchildren, Paul (Kate), Steve (Kaylan),
6Daniel, Joseph, and Grace Przyborski, Allison and Billy Noelle,
7Tony (Dayna) Locaciato and Matthew (significant other Tarin
8English) Locaciato, Andrew (Katie) Pozniak, Ursula, Jonathan
9(Jenna), and Robert Sepulveda; brother, Edwin (Jean) Biernat;
10and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, and friends;
11therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
14Delphine Marie Przyborski, and extend our sincere condolences
15to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
16it further
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
18presented to the family of Delphine Przyborski as an expression
19of our deepest sympathy.
