SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Louise E. Fields, who passed away on September 16, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Louise Fields was born in Joliet and was a lifelong resident of the area; and

WHEREAS, Louise Fields graduated with the Joliet Township High School Class of 1948; and

WHEREAS, Louise Fields was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters; a brother; a son; and her husband; and

WHEREAS, Louise Fields is survived by 2 sons, Charles (Mittchelena) Meade and William (Sandra) Meade; a daughter, Lora (Elbert) Meade; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Meade; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mark Robinson; 6 sisters, Marian Leverette, Penny (Darnell) Johnson, Nancy Gregory, Betty (Daniel) Fryar, Vivian Byes, and Jenie (Donald) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Louise E. Fields; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Louise Fields as an expression of our sympathy.
