SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Mae Wolf of Granite City, who passed away
4on March 1, 2013; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was born on May 20, 1920, in Jerseyville
6to John and Grace (nee Moore) Frank; she married Samuel E. Wolf
7on November 9, 1946; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was the manager of Payless Shoe Store in
9Granite City; she was a member of Central Christian Church and
10the United Way; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was preceded in death by her parents; her
12son, Larry Wolf; her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Diane (nee
13Corder) Wolf; her sisters, Lucille (Frank) Foster and Myrtle
14Frank; and her brother, Orville Frank; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mae Wolf is survived by her husband, former State
16Representative Samuel E. Wolf; her son Dave B. Wolf; her
17grandchildren, Dave S. (Sheila) Wolf, Damon (Rose) Wolf, Tanya
18Kennedy, Erin Wolf, Renee M. Wolf, and Danny Thweatt; her
19great-grandchildren, Megan Grace Morse, J.D. Wolf, Jake Wolf,
20Mackenzie Kennedy, and Gavin Kennedy; her sister, Martha
21(Frank) Malson; and her daughter-in-law, Susan (Bayless) Wolf;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Mae Wolf, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family,
5friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Mae Wolf as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
