SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Mae Wolf of Granite City, who passed away on March 1, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was born on May 20, 1920, in Jerseyville to John and Grace (nee Moore) Frank; she married Samuel E. Wolf on November 9, 1946; and

WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was the manager of Payless Shoe Store in Granite City; she was a member of Central Christian Church and the United Way; and

WHEREAS, Mae Wolf was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Wolf; her daughter-in-law, Charlotte Diane (nee Corder) Wolf; her sisters, Lucille (Frank) Foster and Myrtle Frank; and her brother, Orville Frank; and

WHEREAS, Mae Wolf is survived by her husband, former State Representative Samuel E. Wolf; her son Dave B. Wolf; her grandchildren, Dave S. (Sheila) Wolf, Damon (Rose) Wolf, Tanya Kennedy, Erin Wolf, Renee M. Wolf, and Danny Thweatt; her great-grandchildren, Megan Grace Morse, J.D. Wolf, Jake Wolf, Mackenzie Kennedy, and Gavin Kennedy; her sister, Martha (Frank) Malson; and her daughter-in-law, Susan (Bayless) Wolf; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Mae Wolf, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Mae Wolf as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
