SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Henry M. "Hank" Juiris, who passed away on August 27, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was born on December 8, 1939 in Chicago; his parents were Jeanette and Anthony "Pete" Juiris; he was a former resident of Park Ridge before living in Vernon Hills for the past 11 years; and

WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was the owner of an Ace Hardware store in Chicago; he also invested in real estate, owned a retirement community in Wisconsin, and had many other business endeavors throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, Henry Juiris enjoyed boating and fishing in various places in northern Wisconsin; and

WHEREAS, Henry Juiris was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Erv Juiris; and

WHEREAS, Henry Juiris is survived by his beloved wife, Christine Juiris; 4 children, Mark (Tahira) Juiris, Steven (Cindy) Juiris, Peter (Elizabeth) Juiris, and Mary Juiris; 8 grandchildren, Aaron, Aayan, Allison, Kayla, Cody, Sarah, Chase, and Ella; a sister, Virginia (Casey) Davidson; a sister-in-law Phyllis Juiris; his loving in-laws, the Firlit family; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Henry M. "Hank" Juiris; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Henry Juiris as an expression of our sympathy.
