SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Catherine E. Daley of Waukegan, who passed away on August 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Catherine Daley was born on June 14, 1920 in Chicago and was an area resident for most of her life; and

WHEREAS, Catherine Daley was a member of St. Anastasia Parish; and

WHEREAS, Catherine Daley was preceded in death by her parents, William and Viola Schulz; her husband, Donald Daley; a daughter, Sandra Gesky; and 2 sisters, Bernadette and Marciana; and

WHEREAS, Catherine Daley is survived by 7 children, William (Judith) Daley, Suzanne (August) Hibel, Thomas Daley, Donald Daley, Dianne (Michael) Scarvada, Joseph Daley, and Robert (Joan) Daley; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Catherine E. Daley; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Catherine Daley as an expression of our sympathy.
