SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Sally (nee Sexton) Snarski of Waukegan, who passed away on July 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on June 16, 1928 to Dr. Walter G. and Ethel Morgan Sexton; she graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science in Bacteriology; she married Eugene Mitchell Snarski on February 13, 1954; and

WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was employed by Abbott Laboratories; and

WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church and volunteered regularly at their soup kitchen; she was a member of Ex Libris Book Club of Waukegan, Chapter AP of the PEO Sisterhood, and the Douglas Chapter of the Waukegan Garden Club; and

WHEREAS, Sally Snarski is survived by her husband, Eugene; and their 8 children; daughter, Elisabeth (F. Steven) Bissell; 3 children, Katherine (Eric) Richardson, Maria, and Eleanor; her son, William; daughter, Sarah (Robert) Berrett; 2 children, Kaitlyn and Emily; triplet sons, Thomas (Marijean); 2 children, Theresa and Rebecca; Andrew (Cindy); 2 children, Nicole and Alexander; and Timothy (Shawn); 4 children, Felicia, Marianna, Andrea, and Amelia; son, Nicholas (Jill); 4 children, Stephen, Madeline, Sally, and Nicholas; daughter, Maria (A. Peter Giorgianni); and 3 children, Peter, Annalise, and Alex; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Sally Snarski, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Sally Snarski as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
