SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sally (nee Sexton) Snarski of Waukegan,
4who passed away on July 24, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin on
6June 16, 1928 to Dr. Walter G. and Ethel Morgan Sexton; she
7graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of
8Science in Bacteriology; she married Eugene Mitchell Snarski on
9February 13, 1954; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was employed by Abbott
11Laboratories; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Sally Snarski was a member of St. Anastasia
13Catholic Church and volunteered regularly at their soup
14kitchen; she was a member of Ex Libris Book Club of Waukegan,
15Chapter AP of the PEO Sisterhood, and the Douglas Chapter of
16the Waukegan Garden Club; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Sally Snarski is survived by her husband, Eugene;
18and their 8 children; daughter, Elisabeth (F. Steven) Bissell;
193 children, Katherine (Eric) Richardson, Maria, and Eleanor;
20her son, William; daughter, Sarah (Robert) Berrett; 2 children,
21Kaitlyn and Emily; triplet sons, Thomas (Marijean); 2 children,

1Theresa and Rebecca; Andrew (Cindy); 2 children, Nicole and
2Alexander; and Timothy (Shawn); 4 children, Felicia, Marianna,
3Andrea, and Amelia; son, Nicholas (Jill); 4 children, Stephen,
4Madeline, Sally, and Nicholas; daughter, Maria (A. Peter
5Giorgianni); and 3 children, Peter, Annalise, and Alex;
6therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Sally Snarski, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to Sally Snarski as an expression of our deepest
14sympathy.
