SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" McLaren of Waukegan, who passed away on July 27, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was born on December 16, 1961 in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was a union carpenter by trade; he was also a caretaker for his mother; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren enjoyed working on his friends' and family's cars, boats, and bicycles, watching NASCAR, and vegetable gardening; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren was preceded in death by his father, James McLaren; and

WHEREAS, Jeffrey McLaren is survived by his mother, Lois McLaren; 3 siblings, Ron (Wendy), Laura Koechel, and Karen Ford; a twin sister, Jenny (Francis) Puntney; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jeffrey Scott "Jeff" McLaren; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jeffrey McLaren as an expression of our sympathy.
