SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Loretta F. Marren of Waukegan, who passed away on November 29, 2012; and

WHEREAS, Loretta Marren was born in Chicago to Hugo and Catherine Frankel and moved to Waukegan in 1974; and

WHEREAS, Loretta Marren worked as a legal secretary in Waukegan for over 35 years; and

WHEREAS, Loretta Marren was preceded in death by her parents, Hugo and Catherine (nee Fanning) Frankel; and

WHEREAS, Loretta Marren is survived by her daughter, Janet (Chris) Crnich; her son, John Marren; her sisters, Margaret (the late Charles) May and Catherine (the late John) Duff; her brothers, Robert (Dorothy) Frankel, William (Anita) Frankel, Lawrence (Mary) Frankel, and Howard Frankel; her brother-in-law, George (the late Mary) Berndt; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and greatnieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Loretta Marren, and we extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Loretta Marren as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
