SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathy Lynn Rude of Vernon Hills, who passed away on May 24, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude was born on May 29, 1959 in Chicago; her parents were Everett Marvin and Marilyn Ruth (nee Steinweg) Rude; she was raised in Wheeling and was a 1977 graduate of Wheeling High School; and

WHEREAS, After high school, Kathy Lynn Rude began a career in the mortgage/investment lending field at Sears; she continued with the company through ownership changes with PNC, Chase, and Washington Mutual; for the past 7 years, she was employed in investor accounting by Dovenmuehle in Lake Zurich; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude enjoyed reading, country western dancing, needlepoint, cooking, and baking; and

WHEREAS, Kathy Lynn Rude is survived by her parents, Everett and Marilyn Rude; a brother, Marvin (Brenda) Rude; a sister, Deborah (James) Nihei; 3 nephews, James Nihei, Justin (Maria) Nihei, and Daniel Rude; and a niece, Kayla Rude; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathy Lynn Rude; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathy Lynn Rude as an expression of our sympathy.
