SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wayne Andrew Gesky of North Chicago, who passed away on June 12, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Wayne Gesky was born on April 13, 1949 in Waukegan; he graduated from North Chicago Community High School, and served in the United States Army; and

WHEREAS, Wayne Gesky enjoyed fishing, bowling, shooting pool, and the Chicago White Sox; and

WHEREAS, Wayne Gesky was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Agatha; his brothers, Karl-John, Richard, and Charles "Chuck"; his granddaughter, Jacelynne Marie; and his brother-in-law, Ronald Ratliff; and

WHEREAS, Wayne Gesky is survived by his daughters, Kristy (Terry) O'Neal and Jaime Gesky; his sisters, Marilyn Ratliff and Rose Gesky; his brother, Dennis; his grandchildren, Lamont and Kaden Presley and Jordan and Alexis O'Neal; his sister-in-law, Loretta Gesky; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his special friend, Paul Vigardt; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Wayne Andrew Gesky, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wayne Gesky as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
