SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Martin V. Mueller of Antioch, who passed
4away on June 17, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was born on June 1, 1954 in Howell,
6Michigan; his parents were Alexander and Donna Mae (nee Colvin)
7Mueller; he lived in the Mason, Michigan area for many years
8before settling in Antioch in 1984; he married Ruth Salminen on
9July 16, 1983 in Waukegan; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Martin Mueller worked as a machine operator for
11International Filing Company in Waukegan for many years; for
12the past 7 years, he worked for Fischer Paper Products in
13Antioch; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was a former member of the Antioch
15Moose Lodge; he enjoyed boating, fishing, traveling, managing
16his properties in Savanna, and tending to the tumbling
17scholarship program he began in his daughter Marissa's memory;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Martin Mueller was preceded in death his parents
20and 2 daughters, Heather and Marissa Mueller; and

1    WHEREAS, Martin Mueller is survived by his wife of 31
2years, Ruth; a daughter, Tiffany Mueller; 5 siblings, Lorelei
3(Leo) Allaire, Donna "Vicki" (Kenneth) McCurdy, Martha (Terry)
4Olson, Julie (Fred) Robinson, and Alexander Jr. (Shirley)
5Mueller; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
6friends; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Martin Mueller; and be
10it further
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
12presented to the family of Martin Mueller as an expression of
13our sympathy.
