SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Bernadette Kathleen Hasquin of Gillespie,
4who passed away on June 6, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Bernadette Hasquin was born in Litchfield on
6September 30, 1946 to Vincent and Catherine (nee Murphy)
7Demuzio; she married David Carl Hasquin on August 14, 1964 in
8Lexington, Kentucky; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Bernadette Hasquin was a career specialist and
10office manager for the West Central Development Council at the
11Litchfield Job Center; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Bernadette Hasquin was a member of the Ladies
13Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4547 of Gillespie, and
14the Saints Simon and Jude Altar Society; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Bernadette Hasquin was preceded in death by her
16parents; spouse; brother, State Senator Vince Demuzio; and
17sister, Jean Demuzio; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Bernadette Hasquin is survived by her son, Vincent
19J. (Alison) Hasquin; daughter, Victoria Lynn (William) Bruhn;
20grandchildren, William Bruhn Jr., Rachel Bruhn, Eric Hasquin,

1and Emily Hasquin; great-grandchildren, Kolson and Brody;
2sisters, Marlene Demuzio, Catherine Visintin, and Donna Burke;
3and sister-in-law, former State Senator Deanna Demuzio;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Bernadette Kathleen Hasquin, and extend our sincere
8condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
9her; and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Bernadette Hasquin as an expression
12of our deepest sympathy.
