SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Roseann C. Stvrtecky of McHenry, who passed away on June 1, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Roseann Stvrtecky was born on November 22, 1949 in Chicago to James Donald and Marie (nee Giammanco) Browne; she married Daniel C. Stvrtecky on June 5, 1971 at St. Thomas Church in Des Plaines; and

WHEREAS, Roseann Stvrtecky enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom when her children were young; when her children were older, she worked as a teacher's aide at James Bush Elementary School in Johnsburg; she also worked for Prem Magnetics and the Follett Corporation; most recently, she was an executive secretary at Angelus Retirement Community in McHenry, later known as Fox Point; and

WHEREAS, Roseann Stvrtecky enjoyed cooking, especially for family gatherings, crocheting, and doing needlepoint; and

WHEREAS, Roseann Stvrtecky was preceded in death by her father; and

WHEREAS, Roseann Stvrtecky is survived by her husband of 43 years, Daniel; 2 sons, Christopher (Karen) Stvrtecky and Scott (Jenny) Stvrtecky; 3 grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, and Emma; her mother, Marie Browne; a sister, Jean (Frank) Raimondi; a brother, Pat (Judy) Browne; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim (Joy) Stvrtecky and Rosann (Bruce) Green; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Roseann C. Stvrtecky, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Roseann Stvrtecky as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
