| | 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | | 3 | | learn of the death of Timothy A. Murphy, Sr. of Marengo, who | | 4 | | passed away on June 2, 2014; and
| | 5 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy, Sr. was born on March 16, 1947 in | | 6 | | Chicago; his parents were Benard and Alice (nee Connors) | | 7 | | Murphy; he married Gwendolyn Faye McKendrick on November 15, | | 8 | | 1965; and
| | 9 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy, Sr. was a member of the Knights of | | 10 | | Columbus and Sacred Heart Council 13476; and
| | 11 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy, Sr. enjoyed fishing, hunting, and | | 12 | | fixing anything he could; and
| | 13 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy, Sr. was preceded in death by his | | 14 | | son, Timothy Murphy, Jr.; his parents; and 5 siblings, Benard | | 15 | | Murphy, Jr., Margaret Scott, Joseph F. Murphy, Betty Uselton, | | 16 | | and John Murphy; and
| | 17 | | WHEREAS, Timothy Murphy, Sr. is survived by his wife, Gwen; | | 18 | | 3 children, Elizabeth (Kenneth) McCorkle, Alice (Wade) | | 19 | | Petriak, and Charles (Maria) Murphy; 7 grandchildren; and | | 20 | | several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
