SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of David A. Schele of Sugar Grove, who passed away on February 15, 2013; and

WHEREAS, David Schele was born on February 10, 1952, in Aurora to Robert J. and Elaine Schele; he graduated from West Aurora High School in 1970 and owned and operated Close Encounters Body Shop in North Aurora for 30 years; and

WHEREAS, David Schele was passionate about 3 things: his family, cars, and helping people; he attracted people from all over the region being one of the best auto painters in the business; he won the Best Paint in Show at the World of Wheels Chicago auto show and his work has been featured in custom car magazines; and

WHEREAS, David Schele was preceded in death by his father, Robert J. Schele; and

WHEREAS, David Schele is survived by his son, David A. Schele; his mother, Elaine Schele; his brothers, Gary (Kathy), Robert, and Brian (Cindy); and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of David Schele, and we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of David Schele as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
