SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of James M. Kliora of Waukegan, who passed away on April 20, 2014; and

WHEREAS, James Kliora was born on June 1, 1937 in Waukegan; and

WHEREAS, James Kliora served his country with pride as a member of the United States Marine Corps; and

WHEREAS, James Kliora was the 1956 Illinois State Wrestling Champion of Waukegan High School and held a black belt in judo; he was also a marathoner, a foreign language instructor, a judo instructor, and a realtor; and

WHEREAS, James Kliora enjoyed vacationing in Acapulco, reading, and meeting people; and

WHEREAS, James Kliora is survived by his wife, Rosalinda; 2 sons, James J. Kliora and Fred (Mary) Kliora; a granddaughter, Monica; 2 brothers, Tom and Ted Kliora; and many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James M. Kliora; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Kliora as an expression of our sympathy.
