SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Darlene J. Pace of Barrington, who passed away on May 2, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Darlene Pace was born on December 31, 1961 in Johnsburg; she married Robert Pace on August 20, 1988 at St. John the Baptist in Johnsburg; and

WHEREAS, Darlene Pace will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her for her optimism, her pleasant persistence, and her great sense of humor; and

WHEREAS, Darlene Pace enjoyed quilting and finding the perfect seashells on Marco Beach; and

WHEREAS, Darlene Pace was preceded in death by her father, Gene Hughes; and

WHEREAS, Darlene Pace is survived by her loving husband, Robert Pace; 2 children, Kelsey and Alex; her mother, Dorothy Hughes; and a brother, Andy (Debbie) Hughes; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Darlene J. Pace; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Darlene Pace as an expression of our sympathy.
