SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Judith A. Golwitzer of Waukegan, who
4passed away on February 21, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Judith Golwitzer was born in Waukegan on August
625, 1938 to Edward and Margaret McNeany; she married Gary
7Golwitzer on August 3, 1958; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Judith Golwitzer was a homemaker during her
9children's early years; she later worked at the Waukegan
10Developmental Center (later the Ann Kiley Center); she went
11back to school and then became the Director of Medical Records
12for the Ann Kiley Center until her retirement after 27 years;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Judith Golwitzer enjoyed traveling, gardening,
15and spending time with her family; she was an active member of
16the Woman's Club, book clubs, and the AARP; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Judith Golwitzer was preceded in death by her
18husband, Gary, Sr.; daughter, Sharon; her parents; and
19father-in-law, Clyde Golwitzer, Sr.; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Judith Golwitzer is survived by her children,

1Susan (Gerald) Mortensen and Gary (Inessa) Golwitzer; brother,
2Larry (Sue) McNeany; mother-in-law, Ethel (William) Flesher;
3grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, James, Jeff, and Niko; many
4loving brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews; a very
5large group of friends; close friends, Fritz and Monica
6Richardson; and sister-in-law, Dawn Arroyo; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Judith A. Golwitzer, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Judith Golwitzer as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
