SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Judith Lynn Ryckman of Lake Villa, formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on February 14, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Judith Ryckman was born on December 26, 1945, in Waukegan; she was a lifelong resident of the Waukegan area; and

WHEREAS, Judith Ryckman was a member of St. Anastasia Church and served as the secretary to the Dean at Warren High School before retiring in 2001; and

WHEREAS, Judith Ryckman was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ryckman, Jr.; her parents, Rudolph and Evelyn Cranor; her aunt, Elaine (John) McCaughey; and her cousins, Susan Flowers and Dru Andrews; and

WHEREAS, Judith Ryckman is survived by her children, Kenneth A. Ryckman, III and Katie Ryckman; her grandchildren, Eveianna I. Ryckman and Alexander C. Ryckman; her brothers, Robert (Ellan) Burkhart and Jerry (Barbara) Burkhart; her nieces and nephews, Carrie Taylor, Heather (Jim) Dorsey, Steve Burkhart, Billy Burkhart, and Becky Shields; her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Stenmark and Jane (Dale) Shorman; her brother-in-law, Daniel (Linda) Ryckman; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Judith Lynn Ryckman; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Judith Ryckman as an expression of our sympathy.
