SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Kathleen May Regner of Wonder Lake, who passed away on February 28, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Regner was born in Chicago on June 15, 1948 to Carl and Thelma (nee Lake) Lawson; she married Ralph Regner on June 28, 1967; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Regner was preceded in death by her son, Michael, and by her parents; and

WHEREAS, Kathleen Regner is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ralph; her children Patricia and Kenneth Altergott; her grandchildren, Ryan (Danielle), K.J., and Kayla (Cody); her great-granddaughter on-the-way, Taya; her brothers, Dennis (Angie) and Richard Lawson; her brother-in-law, Russell Regner; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Kathleen May Regner, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Kathleen Regner as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
