HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Joshua Alber of Dakota High School on winning his 4th-consecutive Illinois High School Association State championship in wrestling and going undefeated and untied in his 4 years of competition; and

WHEREAS, Joshua Alber defeated Coal City's Casey Brown 16-5 on February 22, 2014 in the Class 1A 132-pound division finals to capture his most recent State championship; and

WHEREAS, Joshua Alber has compiled a career record of 182 wins, 0 losses, and 0 ties; he is the only wrestler in Illinois history to accomplish this feat; and

WHEREAS, Joshua Alber will wrestle for Division 1 Northern Iowa this fall; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Joshua Alber on winning his 4th-consecutive Illinois High School Association State championship and going undefeated and untied in his 4 years of wrestling; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Joshua Alber as an expression of our esteem and respect.
