HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James L. Womick of Hurst, who passed away on December 10, 2013; and

WHEREAS, James Womick was born on April 3, 1944 in Anna; his parents were William and Helen (nee Jones) Womick; he married Rosaria Colletti on April 14, 1973; she preceded him in death; he later married Dana Rice on December 28, 1997; and

WHEREAS, James Womick was the owner and operator of A & J Freight then Red Ball Trucking Company for many years; he most recently managed the worker's compensation division of Womick Law Firm; and

WHEREAS, James Womick enjoyed rabbit hunting, family gatherings, and home improvement projects; and

WHEREAS, James Womick was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, James Womick is survived by his wife, Dana Womick; his children, Janet Womick, Jim F. Womick, Jerry "Bear" (Lisa) Womick, Joe (Linda) Womick, Austin Rice, and Evan Rice; his siblings, Jack (A.R.) Womick, John (Jane) Womick, and Debra (Ruane) Tanner; his grandchildren, Brandon, Dustin, Haley, Hunter, Phoenix, Robi, Macey, Kristyn, Taylor, Braelyn, and Blake; his mothers-in-law, Mary Colletti and Carolyn Sue Rice; and his many other nieces, nephews, other special relatives, and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James L. Womick; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Womick as an expression of our sympathy.
