1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate Kathryn Brackett on the
4 occasion of her 100th birthday on December 26, 2012; and

5     WHEREAS, Kathryn Brackett has volunteered at Adventist
6 Hinsdale Hospital (AHH) since 1978; she has logged about 5,500
7 lifetime hours volunteering for the hospital, mainly as part of
8 the sewing group, which sews dog and cat pillows for patients
9 in AHH's pediatric department; and

10     WHEREAS, In addition to her volunteer work at the hospital,
11 Kathryn Brackett is a legacy member of the Hinsdale Hospital
12 Foundation and is a consistent and generous donor to the
13 foundation; and

14     WHEREAS, Kathryn Brackett serves as a model of hard work,
15 integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of
16 Illinois; therefore, be it

17     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we congratulate Kathryn Brackett on the occasion of her 100th
20 birthday and wish her many happy and healthy years to come; and
21 be it further

1     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
2 presented to Kathryn Brackett as a symbol of our esteem and
3 respect.
