HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Jay Douglas Webb of Ewing, who passed away on October 2, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was born on May 6, 1941 in Ewing; his parents were Roy Webb and Mickey (nee McKee) Webb; he married Judy McKinnon on October 17, 1964; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb, his wife, and his son were the owners and operators of Webb Farms of Ewing; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was a member of the Farm Bureau, the Future Farmers of America Alumni Association, and the Ewing School Board; he also enjoyed auctioneering; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents; and

WHEREAS, Jay Webb is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judy Webb; his son, Shannon (Tracy) Webb; his granddaughter, Josie Lee Webb; his sister, Kay (Rick) Boundy; his aunts, Billie J. (Herb) Winemiller and Judy McKee; his sisters-in-law, Donna Ellis and Mary McKinnon; and his many nephews, nieces, and cousins; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Jay Douglas Webb; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jay Webb as an expression of our sympathy.
