HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Corrine Robinson, who passed away on September 20, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was born in Henderson, Texas; she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young girl; in December of 1962, she moved to Chicago, where she lived the remainder of her life; and

WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson enjoyed making people happy, praying, reading the Bible, cooking, quilting, playing with her stuffed animals, and spending time with her family; and

WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson was preceded in death by her sons, Cecil Choice and O.C. Choice; her daughter, Mary Catherine Bell; her brother; her sister, Roberta Johnson; her grandsons, O.C., Jr. and Brian Keith; and many other family members; and

WHEREAS, Corrine Robinson is survived by her daughter, Elgrine Phillips; her 22 grandchildren; her 17 great-grandchildren; her great-nephew, John; her 3 great-great nieces; and many other relatives; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her family and friends, mourn the passing of Corrine Robinson; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Corrine Robinson as an expression of our sympathy.
