HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Eric Deon Brown, Jr. of Peoria, who passed away on June 24, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Eric Brown, Jr. was born in Peoria on March 9, 1992, to Eric Brown, Sr. and Lesley Coleman; and

WHEREAS, Eric Brown, Jr. was a fan of basketball and loved to play as well; and

WHEREAS, Eric Brown, Jr. was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Floyd Parker, and his paternal grandmother, Emma Jean Brown; and

WHEREAS, Eric Brown, Jr. is survived by his parents; his son, E'Marion Williams; his brothers, Stephen Bailey, Monterrius Foster, and Darryl Calhoun; his sisters, Leshanda Coleman, Amber Brown, Eriona Brown, Kiyana Brown, and Malaya Brown; his paternal grandfather, Gene Brown, Sr.; his maternal grandmother, Rosemary Moore; his fiancee, La Paris Williams; the Shelton family; and a host of other relatives and friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eric Deon Brown, Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eric Brown, Jr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
