HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Bernice Augusta Covilli, who passed away on June 27, 2013; and

WHEREAS, Bernice Covilli was born on January 16, 1927, in West Frankfort; her parents were Jack and Lydia Stephens; and

WHEREAS, Bernice Covilli was a loving mother and grandmother; she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Frankfort and Women of the Moose; she also served as a Democratic Precinct Committeewoman; and

WHEREAS, Bernice Covilli was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Covilli; her parents; and her brother, Jack Stephens; and

WHEREAS, Bernice Covilli is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Tim) Ricci; her grandchildren, Chelcee (Lance) Brown and Lacee (Andrew) Breeden; her great-grandchildren, Logan and Kennedi Brown; her sister, Faye Pearce; her niece, Jama Wahl; and her nephew, Jackie Stephens; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of Bernice Augusta Covilli; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Bernice Covilli as an expression of our sympathy.
