HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Jonathan
4Gus King of Pittsburg, who passed away on November 10, 2014;
5and
 
6    WHEREAS, Jonathan King was born in Marion on January 2,
71981; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Jonathan King was a carpenter working for the E.T.
9Simonds Construction Company in Carbondale and was a member of
10the carpenter's local union; prior to working for the union, he
11was a co-owner of King Buildings; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jonathan King enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports,
13coaching, and riding his Harley; his greatest love of all was
14his children and helping others; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Jonathan King is survived by his wife, Sara; his
16children, Madison Lee and Andrew Gus; his mother and
17step-father, Deanna and Gerald Davis; his father, Rick King;
18his brothers, Simon (Christi) King and Phillip (Cindy) King;
19his grandparents, Kenneth and Alma Perry; his nieces and
20nephews, Lexi and Abigail King, Bentley and Emily Cameron,
21Chase and Clayton Pearl, and Cody Wheaton; his sister-in-law,

1Cathy (Jason) Cladis; his nieces, Alaina and Ava Cladis; and
2his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Teresa and Don Gay;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
5NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
6we mourn the passing of Jonathan Gus King, and extend our
7sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
8and loved him; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Jonathan King as an expression of
11our deepest sympathy.
