Amends the School Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the evaluation of certified employees.

AN ACT concerning education.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing Section 24A-1 as follows:

(105 ILCS 5/24A-1) (from Ch. 122, par. 24A-1)

Sec. 24A-1. Purpose. The The purpose of this Article is to improve the educational services of the elementary and secondary public schools of Illinois by requiring that all certified school district employees be evaluated on a periodic basis and that the evaluations result in remedial action being taken when deemed necessary.
