SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
305 ILCS 5/10-16.4a new

    Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that in an effort to locate an obligor who is delinquent in his or her child support obligation pursuant to an order for support and to enhance enforcement of child support obligations, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, through its Child and Spouse Support Unit, shall publish at regular intervals a list of obligors who are delinquent in their support obligations as determined by the Department together with arrearage information and other identifying information, including, but not limited to, a photograph of the obligor and the obligor's occupation and last known address.

1    AN ACT concerning child support.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5adding Section 10-16.4a as follows:
 
6    (305 ILCS 5/10-16.4a new)
7    Sec. 10-16.4a. Publication of delinquent obligor list;
8Child and Spouse Support Unit. In an effort to locate an
9obligor who is delinquent in his or her child support
10obligation pursuant to an order for support and to enhance
11enforcement of child support obligations, the Department of
12Healthcare and Family Services, through its Child and Spouse
13Support Unit, shall publish at regular intervals a list of
14obligors who are delinquent in their support obligations as
15determined by the Department together with arrearage
16information and other identifying information, including, but
17not limited to, a photograph of the obligor and the obligor's
18occupation and last known address.
19    For purposes of this Section, "arrearage", "delinquency",
20"obligor", and "order for support" have the meanings attributed
21to those terms in the Income Withholding for Support Act.
