SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 2405/12 rep.
20 ILCS 2407/Art. 4 rep.

Amends the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act. Repeals provisions regarding community services for persons with visual disabilities at the Illinois Center for Rehabilitation and Education. Amends the Disabilities Services Act of 2003. Repeals provisions regarding the operation of a Rapid Reintegration Pilot Program by the Department of Human Services. Effective immediately.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Act is amended by repealing Section 12.

Section 10. The Disabilities Services Act of 2003 is amended by repealing Article 4.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
