SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry T. Schultz, who passed away on September 3, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz was born on January 31, 1939 in Moline; his parents were Arthur and Luella Stratman Schultz; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz served his country as a member of the United States Navy; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz was employed at Navistar for many years until his retirement in 1994; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and supporting his grandchildren in their many activities; he was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Schultz; and

WHEREAS, Larry Schultz is survived by 3 children, James (Rebecca) Schultz, Jeana Hess, and Jill Schultz; 4 grandchildren, Dustin Schultz, Erica Schultz, Aris Hess, and Max Hess; and his special friend, Mary Jane Stewart; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Larry T. Schultz; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Schultz as an expression of our sympathy.
