SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Russell E. "Russ" Marineau of Naperville, who passed away on July 27, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Russ Marineau was a Naperville resident since 1966; and

WHEREAS, Russ Marineau retired from IBM after 32 years; and

WHEREAS, Russ Marineau was a former Chairman for HURRAH (District 203 Volunteer Program) for the past 24 years; he was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Church; he was an avid golfer and Green Bay Packer fan; he was a dedicated supporter of all of his grandchildren's activities; and

WHEREAS, Russ Marineau was preceded in death by his brother, William Marineau; and

WHEREAS, Russ Marineau was the beloved husband of over 59 years of Ann Marineau; the cherished father of William "Bill" (Dee Dee) Marineau, Nancy (John) Picton, Jane (Chris) Loan, Sue (Chris) Saar, and Lynn (Steve) Klein; the dearest grandfather of Russell and Joseph Marineau, Scott and Matt Picton, Megan and Kevin Saar, and Allison and Michael Klein; and the fond brother of Peggy (Marv) Patz; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Russell E. "Russ" Marineau, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Russ Marineau as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
